Cogmed Working Memory Training is an evidence-based, computerized program developed by neuroscientists to strengthen working memory and improve attention, focus, and self-regulation. Delivered over five weeks, the program adapts in real time to each user’s ability level, ensuring they are always appropriately challenged for maximum benefit.
Training is completed at home or at EnCourage and is fully supported by a qualified Cogmed Coach, who provides structure, motivation, and weekly check-ins. Research shows that 8 out of 10 participants experience measurable improvements, with benefits that generalize beyond the exercises into daily life.

Working memory is essential for concentration, problem-solving, impulse control, and learning. When working memory improves, individuals are better able to ignore distractions, follow instructions, plan tasks, and sustain attention.
Cogmed is effective for children, adolescents, and adults, including those with ADHD, learning challenges, brain injury, age-related cognitive changes, or anyone wanting to improve academic, professional, or daily functioning.
Children & Teens: Improved attention, grades, task completion, social skills, and independence
